Immunogen
Synthetic correspsonding to all isoforms of sheep 14-3-3.
Specificity
AHP1053 recognises all isoforms of the 14-3-3 protein family. The 14-3-3 family consists of 30kD proteins that are involved in multiple cellular processes including protein kinase signalling pathways, regulation of cell cycle progression, transcription and intracellular trafficking. Protein interactions with 14-3-3 show distinct preferences for its different isoforms and are regulated by phosphorylation of both 14-3-3 and the bound protein.
Immunohistology
This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
Western Blotting
AHP1053 detects a band of approximately 30kDa in HEK293 cell lysates.

Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
