MCA409S, known as clone 12, is one of our most popular MBP markers. It is suitable for use in immunohistochemistry on cryostat sections and reacts with wide range of species. It reacts well with intact MBP but shows reactivity with peptides ending in the Phe 91, where the 91-92 Phe-Phe bond is broken.
